It's been a VERY busy year, especially this spring and before, during the planning of our son's wedding! He's our one and only child, so this was a special time for us, and was a long time in coming about. We're happy for him and the lovely bride he chose! :)

About "Sonbeam Corner"
The idea to create a public blog for adults AND children to enjoy, suddenly came to me one night. My wish is to provide a small corner of happiness and hope to all who find their way here. I'm a married Christian homemaker in my 50's desiring to spread some Light into the world through blogging.

I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin',"
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say.. "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on.

I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

My flaws are far too visible
